Description

ONYRIQ is a SME set up in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona, Spain) in 2016, which is focused on the research and development of polymer materials and their obtaining processes. Our aim is to bring to market technologies with a positive economic and social impact. To this end, we perform R&D projects for third parties and develop proprietary technology to be transferred to specific industries encompassed by the use of polymers. Our expertise includes: a) Synthesis and modification of polymers and biopolymers. Design and obtaining of new polymers by means of more efficient processes (bio-based, recycling, solvent-free, non-toxic) and with improved properties (thermal, mechanical, physical-chemical), b) Nano and micro encapsulation of active compounds, for both controlled release or protection by diverse mechanisms c) Functional polymer materials, by providing special properties to materials and surfaces: self-healing, hydro/oleophobicity, antimicrobial… We apply these technologies to 3 main application fields: Health and medical devices, 3D printing and Sustainable chemistry and circular economy.
