Research organisation

Biogem scarl

Description

Biogem is an Italian GLP-certified CRO with a long-standing expertise in cellular and molecular biology, and genetics.
Its activities span over different fields of life sciences, and it offers highly specialized services in Pre-clinical Research, Experimental Pharmacology, Analytical Biochemistry, Pathology, Bioanalytics, Proteins and Antibodies Production, Nutraceutics, and Functional Genomics.
Importantly, Biogem has an advanced animal facility which can house up to 10.000 animals (rat, mice, rabbits, medaka, and zebrafish). Among other things, Biogem has developed innovative cancer cell models (i.e., orthotopic mesothelioma), and it has a GLP-certified Test Facility, for the execution of toxicity, biocompatibility, and PK studies both in vitro and in vivo.
In Biogem, there is a team of scientists that monitor all the steps of each research project, including its conception, its implementation, the anticipation of possible unexpected outcomes, and the exploitation of emerging results. So Biogem can offer a flexible range of services, that may be adapted to the needs of the partner as well as to the different, emerging steps of the process.
